Service Learning

1) Where are you working for your service learning?
              For my service learning I go to San Dimas Hospital and I shadow and help the EMT that works in the Emergency Room. I go every Monday and Friday night from around 4 O'clock to around 10 0'clock. But I also go to my EMR class which is on Wednesdays from 4 0'clock to 8 0'clock.

3) Summarize the services that you have preformed to complete the 10 hour requirement.
            At the Hospital i do a lot of different things, such as restock the draws with things like leads, gauze, BP cuffs, band aids and so on and so forth. I also help patients to the bathroom or take things to the lab, I also have been taught many things such as how to put a cathader in, or how to put a splint on someone. The things that i have learned how to do are endless. In the class that I attend teaches me things as well. More of the book knowledge rather than knowing how to preform the task at hand physically.
